Château d’Arche 2010

AOC Sauternes
Grand cru classé en 1855
Unique, timeless and rare
Château d’Arche 2010 - Chateau d'Arche

A very open nose of white fruit (pear, apple) and floral aromas. On the palate, the wine is fresh and luscious in the attack, offering beautiful balance. We picked out crystallised orange and apricot jam notes, accompanied by subtle smoky touches.

Harvest from September 30th to October 31st 2010

The winter was one of the coldest and driest in the past twenty years. In April, the vines began to bud in wonderful summer sunshine, followed by heavy rainfall in May and June that oversaw a remarkable flowering period. Next, a dry and sunny summer supplemented by cold nights for the time of year helped the grapes to ripen well. These persistent dry conditions ensured that the grapes were in perfect health and fully ripe.
